Creating Tambourines

The Phoenix house have a growing interest towards Music and Movement lately and absolutely LOVE to dance! Today we decided to make some tambourines of our own to make music with :)

They decorated their paper plates using a variety of different colours and chose streamers and feathers that they wanted to use for their personalised creation!

We used rice to put inside our tambourines - children decided the amount of rice they wanted to use inside depending on what kind of sound they wanted their tambourine to make. E.g. Loud or quiet

All the children conveyed a great amount of creativity and focus throughout this activity and showed such pride when making music with their very own tambourines :)
