Learning a new game!!

With the rain setting in heavily outside, it was definitely an indoor day today, a day perfect for games!!  Kavita thought she would share a special game with us that she plays all the time in the holidays with her family, it is a game called Carrom Coins all the way from India.  All the children gathered around as she showed us how to play, there was a lot of technique involved using our hand-eye co-ordination. We certainly had fun giving it a go, thanks kavita xx

Our Phoenix house children were amazed by the enormous puddle outside our classroom...they found some fishing rods and decided to go for a fish to see what they could catch...

This week we celebrated Diwali, the Indian festival of lights in preschool.  On this occasion we did lots of different activities, children and staff were very much involved in all the celebrations and activities.  The objective was to celebrate this  festival at kindy  to let children, staff and parent know about the culture and celebration.  Parents and staff's support was appreciable thank you so much........

KCC's new playground

Yipppeeeeeee.....yesterday we received the best present, a brand new playground at KCC, just in time for summer!! We have a little rock climbing wall, monkey bars, ladders, a bridge and a big yellow slide. All of the KCC children were so excited about the new equipment and couldn't wait to have a go, we got our Phoenix House teacher Amanda to test it out first before she gave the OK and we let all our little monkeys run wild on it..
