St Patricks Day 2017

The Phoenix House had a Green Disco Dress-up day today in celebration of St. Patricks Day!
The children looked absolutely AMAZING! and went to such a great effort with their Green themed dress-ups!

St Patricks Day Shamrock Collage

The Phoenix house children have been getting into the Irish spirit by creating some collage shamrocks using the colours of the Irish flag - Green, White and Orange.

We spoke about St Patrick's day at the table and about our upcoming Green disco day this Friday - which we are all very excited about :)

We also discussed what a Shamrock is and the significance behind it and how it is unique to Ireland.

We look forward to learning more about the Irish culture and taking part in more activities and learning experiences leading up to St Patrick's Day!

Wheels Day!

We had a great time at our Wheels Day where we brought along our Bikes and scooters which we raced around our big car park!

We incorporated our 'Stop/Go' signs into our play and learnt what each colour symbolized.
We will be sure to have another Wheels Day soon! :)
