Disco Thursday - 8th October 2015

Disco Thursday went down a treat yesterday as Phoenix House children boogied the day away and made special disco biscuits for morning tea, saw how low we could go under the limbo stick and played musical chairs and statues.

Sports Day - 7th October 2015

On this beautiful Spring Day the Phoenix House children headed down to Howick Domain where we had a fun afternoon filled with sports activities. We had ring toss, sprint races, duck duck goose, ball and spoon races and we had Austin's Dad pay a special visit to teach us some Rugby techniques and skills which the children thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated! :)

Pizza Day!

The Master Chef's of the Phoenix House were busy again today making some delicious Pizza! We all took turns putting ingredients on the Pizza, and their was talk amongst the table about what were our favourite Pizza's to eat! It is safe to say that this is one creation we will be making again :) It went down a treat!!

Phoenix House Birthdays!

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Nelson who turned 4years old on the weekend and to Cooper who turned five! We hope you both had a lovely birthday spent with your friends and family :)

Cooper we wish you all the best with your school adventure! Be sure to come visit us and tell us all about what learning you get up to while at school.

Cooper and Nelson both shared at Mat-time yesterday what they did for their birthday's and the children had the opportunity to ask questions about their weekend festivities! :)

Pyjama and Movie Day!

We couldn't have asked for better weather with having our Pyjama and Movie Day! The Phoenix House children are all rugged up and ready to relax watching some of their favourite movies :)

Phoenix House Disco!

The Phoenix House disco was a great success! We had a fun filled day where we created our morning tea by making 'Disco Ball Biscuits' with icing and sprinkles, had fun dancing and playing musical chairs/statues and in the afternoon we spent some time at the arts and crafts table making our very own disco ball using glue and glitter :)

Sports Day!

Today the Phoenix House walked down to the Howick Domain where we did a number of fun sport activities which included throwing, catching, kicking and running around :) We had LOTS of fun and we will be sure to do it again soon!~
