Face painting fun
We often get the face paint out in Phoenix house and paint our children's beautiful faces but today we decided to let them paint each other....we were rather impressed with their efforts

KCC Kiwi Christmas Party 2014!!
What a great party!! The children had such fun, we had face painting, bouncy castle, concert, sausage sizzle, slushies, lollies, a special visit from Santa and a show with Popcorn the Clown. What an eventful day!!! The kids looked so cute all dressed up in their Christmas trees for the concert and we were super proud of their singing efforts, they did such a great job. A big thank you to all the family and friends that joined us and made it such a special day. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year xx

Decorating Christmas Trees
Over the past few weeks in Phoenix House we have been super busy decorating our classroom, setting up our Christmas tree, making amazing art for our walls and today while we were preparing for our Christmas Party we decided to decorate a few of our own trees.
We had such fun with the concrete and chalk drawing decorations on our trees, colouring them in, drawing presents under neath and making them our own.
It was so awesome to see the children engaged in art in a different form, often we do art in the classroom but seeing their creations outside was great.
What do you think of our Chalk Trees?
Only one more sleep until the KCC Christmas Party! We cant wait!!!

Japanese Fan
Today kids learnt a new art at preschool. As kids love paper art and we introduced a new skill by flipping it again and again. We all made called "Japanese fan" with children. They had great fun in making those fans and after they finished making them, they started doing actions as they are very hot.........
